Use Cases & Benefits
- Sets up a modern React web application with no build configuration by running a single command.
- Provides a zero-configuration, preconfigured build environment that hides complex tools like webpack and Babel for immediate development.
- Use for quickly bootstrapping new single-page React applications with a standard project structure and development server.
- Use for learning React in a feature-rich environment that includes live reloading, testing, and optimized production builds.
- Use for creating React examples or prototypes without manual setup of build tools and dependencies.

From the README

Create React App works on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
If something doesn’t work, please file an issue.
If you have questions or need help, please ask in GitHub Discussions.
If you've previously installed
create-react-appglobally vianpm install -g create-react-app, we recommend you uninstall the package usingnpm uninstall -g create-react-apporyarn global remove create-react-appto ensure that npx always uses the latest version.(npx comes with npm 5.2+ and higher, see instructions for older npm versions)
Then open http://localhost:3000/ to see your app.
When you’re ready to deploy to production, create a minified bundle with
npm run build. You don’t need to install or configure tools like webpack or Babel.
They are preconfigured and hidden so that you can focus on the code.
Create a project, and you’re good to go.
