    From the README

A desktop image editor faithfully replicating classic Adobe Photoshop with 1:1 native PSD/PSB compatibility.

PhotoSuite is built upon PhotoCraft, an open-source Rust image-editing engine (MIT OR Apache-2.0): its document model, compositor and command system are the foundation, with PhotoSuite's interface, PSD reader and writer, tools and features on top.

PhotoSuite's intention is to fully suppport Photoshop-PhotoSuite PSD round trips, with all effects and smart objects/filters. It's a work in progress. It was originally clean-room written in JS with a Rust engine (Tauri), but it has since taken a more modern, performant approach. The Javascript version still lives in many forks.

Installers are on the Releases page.

On Linux, pick the package for your distribution (<version> and <arch> as in the file name):

The AppImage needs no installation (chmod +x it and run it) and carries update information, so AppImageUpdate fetches only what changed in a new release.
