    Use Cases & Benefits

    • Provides a safety-first disk cleaner and space analyzer for macOS, Windows, and Linux with features like duplicate cleanup, app uninstall, startup management, and system optimization.
    • Ensures data safety by using validated cleanup rules, read-only scanning by default, and detailed user review before any deletion or system changes.
    • Use for reclaiming disk space by safely removing system, application, browser, developer, and AI model caches across multiple platforms.
    • Use for managing startup items and uninstalling applications thoroughly to improve system boot times and recover leftover storage.
    • Use for performing system maintenance and optimization to fix common issues and enhance performance, privacy, and usability with minimal user effort.

    From the README

Disk cleanup, storage analysis, and privacy protection for macOS, Windows, and Linux

The app interface supports English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Find cleanable content scattered across the system, applications, developer tools, and local projects in one scan. MangoDisk saves you from checking each location manually and groups the results by reclaimable space:

Smart recommendations help you make safe choices quickly. You can also review items individually and see the estimated reclaimable space upfront, keeping every cleanup predictable and under your control.

If a scan cannot read some locations, its details show up to 50 failed read operations with paths and native errors. The failure total counts read attempts, not unique folders. A read failure alone does not indicate missing Full Disk Access.

The details dialog can remember a choice to hide all Deep Cleanup read-failure alerts, including automatic macOS privacy guidance. This changes presentation only: unreadable items are still skipped and diagnostics remain available. Cleanup execution errors and other operation failures are still reported. Restore read-failure alerts from Settings → Scanning & analysis. These alerts are shown by default.
