    Use Cases & Benefits

    • Provides an ultra-fast, secure, and lightweight self-hosted cloud storage solution built in Rust for managing files, photos, calendars, and contacts.
    • Delivers high performance with minimal resource usage by running on low-memory hardware and using Rust optimizations without PHP or bloat.
    • Use for setting up a private cloud storage server on minimal hardware to replace slower solutions like NextCloud.
    • Use for developers needing a clean, multi-language web interface for personal or small team file management and synchronization.
    • Use for users requiring a secure, self-hosted platform with features like file deduplication, JWT authentication, and responsive UI for desktop and mobile.

General guidance from repository metadata, not legal advice. How we score

    From the README

NextCloud was too slow on my home server. So I built OxiCloud: a file storage system written in Rust that runs on minimal hardware and stays out of your way.

You need Rust 1.70+, Cargo, and PostgreSQL 13+.
